Wagyu Cube Steak – $28
en grill and bar review projectweekends singapore the shiokbookG & J: This is part of their 1-for-1 menu, and while the portioning was small, it was reasonably priced for such a high-grade A4/5 Motobu waygu. The cubes were tender and grilled to perfection on a sizzling hotplate, and melted in our mouths. We liked how they were paired with capsicums and flat mushrooms for crunch and extra flavour.

Wagyu & Foie Gras – $28en grill and bar review projectweekends singapore the shiokbookG & J: Pan-seared waygu steak with a slab of foie gras on top. We wish there were more foie gras! The steak slices were made easy to chew and flavourful with its finely-cut slices. The sauce is truffle teriyaki – though the teriyaki was more empowering than the truffle – and served with sweet potato chips. The chips were unique and added a nice touch to the dish.

Soft-Shell Crab – $15.80en grill and bar review projectweekends singapore the shiokbookG & J: We ordered one more side, deep-fried soft shell crab. The crab was quite meaty inside while crispy on the exterior. The serving portion was also quite generous. The dip was a little too tangy for our taste though!


Thanks to The Shiok Book, we got to enjoy this restaurant at a discount. The Shiok Book, launched a few months ago, is a dining guide which offers either 1-for-1 deals or 25% off the total bill at some dining places in Singapore. It is a literal book of discounts, which looks like this:
