They can say whatever they like, we are just there for the fresh salmon that we have heard about for the longest time!
Walking in, you’ll see goods like nasi lemak chilli, sambal and other sauces being sold very cheaply. Like only $2-$3 per bottle! And there’s even a seal on each bottle to say that you’ll get your money back if you are not satisfied with it.
G: I promptly bought 3 bottles home to try.
We are fine with that. Spam salmon all day, everyday, we love that mantra.
Walk further in and you’ll see an opening on the right to go in and check out their frozen goods on sale.
The temperature inside is in negative degrees, so if you’re afraid of cold, grab a windbreaker that Fassler provides right at their entrance. We don’t know about the hygiene levels though!
G: Couldn’t stay in there for longer than 5 minutes, so if you’re planning to seriously shop their frozen goods, please dress warmly beforehand.
Really very cheap huh? A good place to stock up during your weekly grocery shopping.
Salmon sashimi: $22
Soy sauce: $3.90
G & J: We counted: A whopping total of 47 slices of sashimi! Quite worth it for $22. The salmon was fresh and wasn’t fishy-smelling at all. We recommend sharing between 3-4 people or buying their party platters instead, for variety!
These are the two platters that caught our eye. Screenshots from their webpage here!
Things to note for these platters:
– Booking is required one day in advance
– 20% off for self collection
Call them at 62575257 to place your orders. You can collect at their Woodlands or Tiong Bahru outlet!
A good place to visit during the weekends or on your off days, definitely. Quite a lot to see and learn, and will make for a good grocery shopping trip with family or friends. But remember to check out the days they are closed for each respective outlet!
