Award-winning ramen emporium Ippudo is a familiar name to many, as what comes to mind immediately are the snaking queues outside each outlet. With the launch of the newest ninth outlet at the opulent Marina Bay Sands, this 90-seater space will offer some new ramen dishes for all patrons to enjoy. If you don’t have time for a full sit-down meal, Kuro-Obi offers a takeaway option without compromising on the quality. Read on!

Takeaway counter beside the restaurantG & J: Don’t worry about soaked-up noodles when you take away your ramen. The chefs will separate the noodles and broth for you!
G & J: Whether you are dining in or taking away, you can custom-select your choice of broth, noodle texture and toppings through this order form.
Kuro-obi – $12G & J: Original is always the best, this we can’t deny. This bowl offers the full indulgence, from an unami egg to three succulent pieces of chicken chashu.
Aka-obi – $10G & J: This is a special tribute to local flavours, with its spicy notes topped with spicy shrimp floss. With all that spice, we got our tongue burnt! If you can’t take too much spice, we recommend going for the original instead.
Cha-obi – $9G & J: Vegetarian lovers will adore this. This rejuvenating bowl of ramen is made up of a clear vegetable broth and a medley of vegetables. A light option if you’re not very hungry and just want a nibble.
Shiro-obi – $8G & J: If you like your broth creamy, this might be a good choice for you. The texture is velvety and gives an overall depth to the otherwise average bowl of ramen.
Ippudo’s much-loved side dishes:

Samurai RibsCrispy CornG & J: The usual signature Ippudo sides (especially gyoza!) meets expectations as usual. As for the newly-launched dishes, we particularly like the crispy corn for its crunchy and burst-in-mouth juicy texture.
Almond Jelly NoodleG & J: This new and innovative dessert is a exciting combination of cold jelly noodles and milky almond soup. Much love for this!
We’ll like to end off with this impactful phrase:
